James Dewhurst – Project Lead
Founder of Strong Football Community and driving force behind our vision, sessions, and growth. James brings lived experience, a passion for grassroots sport, and a commitment to building Strong into a movement that supports mental health, inclusion, and community across the Fylde Coast.

The Council of Four – Liam Underwood, Mitch Smith, Gareth Corcoran & Chris McLeod
The founding group behind Dare to Win, Strong’s first project — documenting everyday life, breaking stigma, and building the foundations of Strong FC.
Liam Webb – Manager, Dare to Win 11’s
Leading the 11-a-side team that grew directly out of the Monday Night Sessions.
Benjamin Priestley Davis – Club Captain
Leading by example on and off the pitch, Benjamin embodies Strong’s values of trust, inclusion, and resilience.

Jez Williamson – Session Organiser & Recreational Team Manager
Keeps our weekly sessions running smoothly and leads the new Strong FC Recreational side.
Liam Orr – Session Organiser
Works alongside Jez to make sure every Strong Session is welcoming, safe, and inclusive.

Leah Pendlebury & Chloe Rowland – Team Leads
Founders of the Strong Ravens, expanding Strong’s reach into women’s sport on the Fylde Coast and leading the team into their first season in September 2025.
